Nvidia Shield Android TV console gets big update with HDR Netflix, 60fps 4K video on YouTube

The big update for its Shield Android TV console that Nvidia announced last month is finally live. The Shield Experience upgrade 3.2 is now rolling out to what is probably the best Android TV device in existence at the moment.
This will bring with it support for HDR streams in Netflix (though the app itself then has to receive an update to support this), 60fps 4K videos in YouTube, 4K for Vudu, along with Dolby Atmos surround sound passthrough in Vudu, MX Player, SPMC, and the preinstalled Photos & Videos app.
You can also use your Shield TV as a Plex media server (not just a player), so if you're inclined to store your media on your console, you're now able to stream it to your other devices. Additionally, it's possible to add a NAS to the Shield, automatically turn your TV off when the Shield sleeps, and access the files and folders on the Shield from your computer. Full details for all of the new functions can be found at the Source link below.
