Back in April we told you that LG is working on expanding its mid-range K-series of smartphones at some point in the future. At that point, two upcoming K-series handsets turned up in a benchmark results database, which gave us information about a few of their specs.
We haven't heard anything more about the LG K530 and K535 from then on, but today another unannounced K-series model has surfaced through Geekbench results.
This is the LG K557 as you can see from the screengrab above. It will come with 2GB of RAM and a Qualcomm chipset boasting an octa-core CPU, although the exact SoC used isn't clear unfortunately. The phone runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow at the moment, so it's safe to assume it will launch with that version of the OS on board too.
This is all the information we have on the K557 at the moment, and it's not much. But if LG is going to launch it and the other two K-series phones anytime soon, then we expect to see some leaks and rumors about them in the very near future.
