HP outs the Chromebook 11 G5 with an optional touchscreen, starts at $189

Now that Chrome OS devices are about to get the Google Play Store preinstalled and access to millions of Android apps, the field is definitely going to get ever more interesting.
Today HP took the wraps off its latest laptop using Google's platform, the 11.6-inch Chromebook 11 G5. This will be available "through channel partners" in July, and will hit retailers' store shelves in October, starting at just $189.
It can be configured with an HD IPS touchscreen protected by Gorilla Glass NBT, and HP boasts you're going to get 12.5 hours of battery life (for the non-touch model) and 11 hours on the one with the touchscreen. Regardless of which model you choose, the display resolution will be 1,366x768.
The Chromebook 11 G5 is powered by the Intel Celeron N3060 processor, which is a dual-core part clocked at 1.6 GHz (with burst up to 2.48 GHz). The laptop weighs 2.51 lbs (1.13 kg). You'll be able to pick from 2 or 4GB of RAM and 16 or 32GB of storage when you buy it.
